Booksy has announced the very first winner of its Get Discovered Backstage contest: Eddie Gallegos.
Gallegos is an award-winning barber, barbershop owner and Andis ambassador.
For this contest, Booksy partnered with Idle Hand Collective, a group of traveling barbers and hairstylists who provide complimentary haircuts to top performers and artists at music festivals around the world. The two joined forces to give beauty pros the opportunity to style some of the most popular musicians backstage at top music festivals.
“It has just been a long journey, and this is super special for me. It’s a very special moment because people will see my skills, get to hear my story, and know that I come from a good place. I just want to be able to inspire people,” says Gallegos.
The current Booksy’s Get Discovered Backstage contest is running now through November 2022.
To enter this contest, Booksy providers must meet three eligibility requirements:
- Must have an active Booksy account
- Have at least 10 reviews on your profile
- Have cumulative profile review rating of at least a 4.8 or above
Winners will be notified of their win three weeks prior to the music festival they will attend.
