Joan Pere Jiménez officially assumed the role of chief executive officer at Spanish fragrance house Eurofragance on January 11, 2026. Jiménez’s appointment marks the beginning of a new strategic plan for the company built around three fundamental pillars: innovation, people and customers.

Jiménez has worked at Eurofragance for over ten years and has held various leadership positions within the executive committee. As chief operations officer, he led the company’s global expansion and helped drive operational efficiency. He most recently served as chief market officer, leading all of the house’s markets at a global level.

“Assuming the position of CEO at Eurofragance is a great responsibility and, at the same time, an opportunity to continue building on everything we have achieved in recent years,” Jiménez said. “My priority is to strengthen our position as a global leader, reinforce our regions and grow in the markets that are most strategic for the company.”

Laurent Mercier, who led Eurofragance as chief executive officer since 2018, will continue to work with the company as a member of its board of directors.

“I am pleased that this transition has been led by one of our own and someone who has a deep understandings of our values and culture,” said president and founder Santiago Sabatés. “He has proven his knowledge of the industry, commitment to Eurofragance and his ability to achieve significant results. I personally wish him success in the years to come.”
