Celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russell recently worked with Kat Dennings for the amfAR LA Inspiration Gala on Wednesday, October 29th in Los Angeles, CA. Said Russell, "We decided on a high shine wave set to complement Kat's gown tonight." The stunning star wore long, cascading waves, reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour.

1. Says Russell, "On damp hair, I applied R+Co Chiffon Styling Mousse through the roots and lengths of the hair. Next I blew it out with a ceramic round brush and pin curled each section, securing with clips. I then curled each section with a 1-inch curling iron and again pin-curled to cool.
2. "After the hair had cooled, starting at the nape, I softly brushed out each section with a Mason Pearson Popular Brush. Once brushed all the way through, I sprayed Serge Normant Dry Oil through the lengths and brushed again until I reached my desired shape.
3. "Finally, I pinned the waves where I wanted them and set the style with R+Co Outer Space Flexible Hairspray."
