The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) recently announced the winners of its 2014 Lifetime Member Scholarship. Four winners, Thu-Trang Tran of California, LaTanya Williams of California, Marylynn Wormley of New York, and Susie Young of California, all received $1,000 each in recognition of their dedication to furthering their educational development.
The PBA Lifetime Member Scholarship, which celebrates over 50 years of commitment shown by PBA's Lifetime Members, is funded by Goldwell New York and Kao USA Inc., and administered by the PBA Foundation. Each application is reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chair.
Applications for the 2015 PBA Lifetime Member Scholarship are now available. In addition to the scholarship application, applicants are asked to describe how they have found value in their PBA membership. Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to PBA individual or student members to use towards continuing education or cosmetology school. The deadline for entry is March 1, 2015.
