Pink Products: Ouidad's Treat for a Cure

This month, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, we're highlighting products and collaborations that help support the cause.

This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ouidad is stepping up its Curls for a Cure® initiative with the addition of the new Treat for a Cure program. Begun in 2005 after the company founder, Ouidad, was diagnosed with breast cancer, the highly-successful Curls for a Cure® program has helped raise over $444,000 for breast cancer research thus far. Now, Ouidad and her co-founder, Peter Wise hope to make an even greater impact in the fight for a cure.

The pioneer company of the curl category, Ouidad broke ground with its launch nearly 3 decades ago as the first curl-centric brand. Ouidad prides itself on its dedication to fully understanding, embracing and specializing in curls.  With trademarked cutting and styling techniques, award winning products and international distribution, Ouidad has been a successful innovator and continues to help clients care for and love their curls.

The unique and innovative Ouidad Salon Series Treatments are known for working harmoniously to enhance the health of both hair and scalp. The Treat for a Cure qualified Salon Series Treatments consist of the Mediterranean Bay Leaf Exfoliating Hair & Scalp Treatment and the Omega-3 Replenishing Hair Treatment. Most importantly, all through the month of October at select Ouidad Certified Salons nationwide, 100% of the proceeds from these Salon Series Treatments will be donated to Curls for a Cure® and additionally matched dollar for dollar by Ouidad.  All Treat for a Cure proceeds will go directly towards Curls for a Cure® to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.
