The fastest way to update a look this spring is to cut it short! Twiggy may have started the trend, but women everywhere are taking it over. Sonna Brado, KMS California Artistic Director from Jaazz Salon (Spokane, WA) is putting clients on the chopping block, and they are loving it!
“As a hairdresser, it’s always fun to cut long hair off and create a fresh new look for someone. For this client, I wanted to bring attention to her eyes, so I designed fullness above her cheekbones and narrowed it out towards the bottom of the shape,” explained Brado.
Brado used KMS California SILKSHEEN shampoo and conditioner before creating an undercut by razoring the underneath hair to remove length and weight. She then dropped the top and worked in pivoting sections from short in the crown area to longer and softer pieces around the face. She styled with KMS California FREESHAPE hot flex spray for flexible shaping and elastic hold and finished by adding texture with KMS California HAIRPLAY dry wax.
