To achieve Brooklyn’s hot pink hue, pre-lighten the pieces you would like to color to a light pale yellow using PRAVANA Pure Light Power Lightener. Follow up by applying the following VIVIDs formula on the lightened pieces: 3 parts VIVIDS Magenta + 1 part VIVIDS Pink + 1 part VIVIDS Yellow. Time 30 minutes.
Jamie King’s Bold Blue Ends
To achieve Jamie’s bright ends, start by deciding where your blending color will begin. Pre-lighten the hair with PRAVANA Pure Light Power Lightener to a light pale yellow for the blue section and a pale yellow for the green sections. Mix the lighter color first and apply from the starting point through ends. Mix the second darker formula and apply this over the lighter shade wherever you want the darker color to start. Lighter color formula: 1 ounce Silk Degrees Shine Treatment + 1 drop VIVIDS Blue + 1 drop VIVIDS Green; Darker color formula: 1/2 ounce Silk Degrees Shine Treatment + 3 drops VIVIDS Green + 2 drops VIVIDS Blue. January Jones’s Subtle Coral Highlights
January’s fun color highlights are applied over her honey blonde base color. To replicate, Pre-lighten to a pale yellow with PRAVANA Pure Light Power Lightener. Use the following formula on the pre-lightened areas: ½ ounce Silk Degrees Shine Treatment + ¼ ounce VIVIDs Yellow + ¼ ounce VIVIDs Pink. Time 30 minutes.
Kelly Osbourne’s Lavender Hue
Kelly’s color consists of varying shades of purple, from soft silvery lavender fading into a brighter violet. To achieve this look, pre-lighten with PRAVANA Pure Light Power Lightener to a light pale yellow. Once pre-lightened, start with equal parts of Silk Degrees Shine Treatment and VIVIDs Silver, then add a drop of VIVIDs Violet to the mixture and start applying. Add an extra drop of VIVIDs Violet when you want the shade to brighten and deepen toward a true violet hue. Time 30 minutes.
