Who do you admire?
I admire people who are passionate and hard-working. My father taught me that if you work hard, and you’re a good person, success will follow.

What inspires you to create new looks?
I am very aware of my surroundings and try to always have my eyes open. I try to stay on trend of what is happening. Seasons and just everyday life inspire me. Magazines fill my office and I love getting inspired by other artists.

What inspired you to create these looks?
I knew I was going to do three looks, and crimped hair was my inspiration. I just evolved the looks and let my mind go on a journey.

I got inspired for this spring shoot because I live In Minot AFB, North Dakota and its been winter for 6 months, and I cannot wait for the snow to melt and my tulips to bloom. I found my model when she got her hair cut at my salon! She was perfect and knew her hair would look fab crimped!

Do you have a preferred hair texture when styling?
Yes, medium hair texture—it is not too fine or too coarse! But I always doesn't control me, I control hair!

Advice for someone trying to enter the industry?
Work hard and continue with your education! I am a huge believer that if you work hard and have passion, anything is possible. Be passionate and be confident. If you believe in yourself, everyone you meet and connect with will believe in you.
