BEAUTY INSPIRATION:
“Lily and I were inspired to create a slick glossy side emulating a shave and then voluminous undone texture with color peeking through.”

GET THE LOOK:
“I started by using Serge Normant Meta Volume Spray in the roots all the way through the damp hair. I then rough dried the hair completely dry. Next I used Oribe Rock Hard Gel on the side twisted tightly and secured with bobby pins across the back. I then added colored extensions and cut them into her hair. I used a flat iron and a 1 inch curling iron to give a loose undone texture. I then sprayed her waved hair with Serge Normant Dry Shampoo and Serge Normant Hairspray until it was in my desired shape.”

BEAUTY INSPIRATION:

“I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten to play dress up with Lily tonight.  Wearing an incredible Moschino dress and leather jacket she was down to play and have fun.  The Met Gala carpet is such a great opportunity to really go for it because its celebrating fashion and art, two forms of creativity that have no rules. Lily is so classically beautiful I knew I could really push her look so I borrowed inspiration from one of the coolest ‘punk’ women in history, Siouxsie Sioux.”

GET THE LOOK:

FACE
“I started by prepping her skin with Jurlique Rose Water Spray and applied some By Terry Rose Baum Serum.  Next I applied Chantecaille  Future Skin Foundation in Porcelain to really blow out the color of her fair complexion.  I then gave her a sharp contoured cheek bone using NARS Blondie Eyeshadow.  And then warmed up her cheek using a sparkling amber toned blush.

EYES
“For her eyes I created a dark shadow line from the corner of her brow down and another defining line in her crease. I then connected her under eye line to the crease shape to emphasize the outline for her eye. I used NARS Bali shadow for all of that contour. Then I used a bright white Shu Uemura Cream Eyeshadow to pop the shapes.  For her lashes I applied two coats of COVERGIRL Flamed Out Mascara in Brown.”

LIPS
“For her lips I applied Belle De Jour Matte velvet Lip Pencil by NARS. She left looking bad ass and beautiful all at once. Super fun.”
