Are you the next “Master of Beauty”? Empire Education Group and Nick Arrojo have teamed up to create the “Become the Next Master of Beauty” online contest, which gives stylists the opportunity to win an unparalleled education package, a chance to perform on stage alongside Arrojo at selected Tour of Beauty dates in 2012, and a $10,000 cash prize. To enter the contest, stylists must do the following:
- Register on the Masters of Beauty Facebook page
- Upload a picture of their best work for one of three categories—cut, color or style
Then, the public will vote along with Arrojo and his team. Quarter finalists will be required to upload a 2-3 minute video highlighting themselves and their handiwork. From there, three finalists will be chosen to travel to New York to duke it out for chance to become the next Master of Beauty as well as Arrojo’s platform sidekick, announced at New York’s 2012 International Beauty Show.
“I love the concept of this contest, because it’s really what Masters of Beauty is all about,” says Arrojo. “The [Masters of Beauty] Tour already provides stylists across the country with amazing advanced education, at a price they can afford, right in their own city.
