Edgy British pop songstress Rita Ora, known for the songs "Hot Right Now," "How We Do (Party)" and "R.I.P.," teamed up with top New Zealand nail stylist Leah Light while touring in the country.
Light had given Ora a different manicure earlier on in the day for a photo shoot, but when Ora spotted the Artistic Nail Design Colour Gloss "What Kind Of Woman Are You?" spring collection, she had to have all the colors! After seeing Light’s own intricate manicure, Ora was extremely excited about combining the pastels with glitter and 3D appliques to create a one-of-a-kind look that was “totally pimped out,” according to Ora.
Light explains that Rita saw the Artistic Nail Design Colour Gloss pastels and fell in love with them. “Rita wanted me to use all the colors, and she was also very excited with the thought of combining the pastels with glitter and 3D and Minx nail coatings all together!” she laughs.
Leah ended up using a range of ACG pastel colors as the base, applying glitter and 3D accents on Rita’s fingers and her own Minx design, Golden Circuit Board, on Rita’s thumbs. Leah enthuses, “She kept telling me how much she loved her nails!”
