Hair Color How To: Autumn Beauty by Shonda Broadus

Shonda Broadus, colorist at Color Me RAD Salon in Beaufort, SC, recently created this gorgeous, autumnal hair color for her client. Seamlessly blended highlights add dimension and interest to the beautiful look, creating a color that is both rich and vibrant - just like the season! Below, Broadus shares the steps she took to create the look:

Says Broadus, "To achieve this look I used Schwarzkopf 5-0 and 4-65 (equal parts) with 20 vol. After completing the root application, I began to hand paint Schwarzkopf Igora Bleach and 20 vol. and Schwarzkopf 4-65 on chosen strands, separating using foils.

"After processing for 30 minutes, I rinsed and toned with Schwarzkopf 8-65, then gave her a blowout using VERB styling cream."
