Graphic Design USA has honored Cosmetologists Chicago, the owner and producer of America’s Beauty Show (ABS), with the 2015 American In House Design Award, for the design of the “FIRST LOOK Book” promoting ABS 2015. This is the eighth consecutive win for Cosmetologists Chicago and its Creative Director Kristen Erickson.
“We set out to accomplish a high level design that was impactful and really resonated with our salon professional audience,” said Cosmetologists Chicago and America’s Beauty Show CEO Paul Dykstra. “We are proud to receive these awards that acknowledge the creativity that truly lives in our industry. Kristen’s work brilliantly speaks directly to our highly creative audience about our America’s Beauty Show.”
CC salutes Luis Alvarez, co-founder and creative director for Aquage, who conceived the ABS 2015 campaign imagery and again served as photographer for the advertising images. Kristen with Luis, and his Aquage creative team provided inspiration to all and, of course, were responsible for the amazing hairstyling and makeup seen in the image.
