Sweis Academy Hosts ColorProof Education Session for Southern California Stylists

Sweis Academy recently hosted a special ColorProof education session for Southern California salon professionals. ColorProof educator Ruth Tedmori shared her top styling tips, techniques, and products with salon professionals at Social Dry Lounge in Irvine, CA. She encouraged stylists to offer their clients style upgrades, a quick 3–10 minute service that would add an extra special touch to their salon experience. Potential upgrades could include braiding, quick chignon, beach waves or S-pattern curls.  Stylists at the event had the opportunity to practice some of these techniques with guidance from Ruth.
 
When asked about her favorite ColorProof products, Ruth raved about Liftit Foam, which she uses on almost every special occasion style for added body and volume. She also loves AllAround Working Hair Spray, which is her go-to product for flexible, brush-able style. Best of all, it is versatile and can be layered and reworked.

  Ruth also shared her tips on the art of styling consultations and product usage tips to create beautiful hair that will last throughout the day or special event.
 
Ruth has worked behind the scenes of editorials, commercials, runway shows and music videos all while maintaining her clientele, allowing her to create looks that are influenced by fashion and trends yet sophisticated and professional enough for daily wear.
