Heaven’s to Betsey. The designer channels Bardot.

Brigitte Bardot provided the inspiration for Betsey Johnson’s spring 2006 show at Olympus Fashion Week. Key stylist Italo Gregorio for Redken came up with two basic looks. Some girls wore pigtails with bangs, while others had long, beautiful texture. Hair extensions were added for volume, but Gregorio also relied on Redken Fabricate 03 heat-active texturizer and Body Full Weightlifter.
Key makeup artist Charlie Green used a palette from Smashbox called Transparency to create a smoky eye and mid-tone lip, while CND’s Team Red did manis and pedis in Moroccan Ruby, a classic, blue-based shade of red. At Betsey Johnson at least, girls will be girls.
