We Are Handsome designers Jeremy and Katinka Somers’ latest collection was inspired by evolution, change and destiny. Their collections have consciously shifted from photographic to graphic prints, and with this progression the brand has strived to treat each piece individually. In doing so, they delivered a collection suited for the independent and individualistic girl – the girl who is confident, yet coy; sophisticated, yet playful; colorful, yet chic.
With this inspiration in mind, TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin created two looks to walk the runway – both of them driving home the modern boldness of the We Are Handsome girl.
Look 1: Braided Inverted Chignon
How To:
1. Brush clean, dry hair towards the hair line, securing an asymmetric ponytail over the arch of the right eyebrow close to the hairline.
2. Use CATWALK by TIGI Work It Hairspray to gently smooth the hair to the head, while maintaining a bit of imperfection.
3. Spray ponytail with CATWALK by TIGI Transforming Dry Shampoo to create matte texture, then, using a 3-strand technique, braid ponytail and secure end with clear elastic. Use fingers to separate and loosen the braid, creating desired texture.
4. Fold braid over onto itself and lay along the hair line, securing with a pin above the ear. Then, tuck ends of braid into itself to create the illusion that the braid has no end or beginning.
5. For added shine, apply a small amount of the CATWALK by TIGI Camera Ready Shine Spray to the back of the head, creating dual texture.

Look 2: City-Chic Bohemian Braid
How To:
1. Brush clean, dry hair into a low, asymmetric ponytail on the right side of the nape of the neck. Secure with elastic.
2. Use CATWALK by TIGI Work It Hairspray to gently smooth the hair to the head, while maintaining a bit of imperfection.
3. Spray ponytail with CATWALK by TIGI Transforming Dry Shampoo to create a matte texture, then, using a 3-strand technique, braid ponytail and secure end with clear elastic. Use fingers to separate and loosen the braid, creating desired texture.
4. For added shine, apply a small amount of the CATWALK by TIGI Camera Ready Shine Spray to the head to create dual texture.
