2014 Oscars Beauty: Ethan Hawke's Dapper Oscars Look

Ethan Hawke looked incredibly dapper at the Academy Awards, where he was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for Before Midnight. Ethan was wearing his hair shorter for a film role, so his stylist, Lauren Kaye Cohen, wanted to make sure it had a lot of great texture. "Ethan is so handsome that I wanted his hair to look a bit rugged," Lauren said. "Because his cut is very short on the sides and in the back, we didn't want it to give off a military feel. I layered a few products to give his hair texture throughout the top and so it would stay put because of the weather. The great thing about these products is that once I got the look I wanted, I knew it would last all night."

Get the look:
1. Mist dry hair with Dry Texturizing Spray to give it a little grip.

2. Take a small amount of Rough Luxury Soft and break down into hands, then massage into hair. Use fingers to work hair into different directions.

3. Finish with a mist of Thick Dry Finishing Spray. "I love this product for guys because it holds body, especially when I've created lift at the root, and it won't move the look," Lauren said.
