For Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring 2021 collection, celebrity nail artist and KISS brand ambassador, Gina Edwards (@ginaedwards), created two “modern and edgy” nail looks.
“I wanted to bring this yin yang of style to life through a modern and edgy approach to classic nail designs,” Edwards explains.
Yin Yang Nails
Step 1: Start with imPRESS Press-on Manicure in Evanesce.
Step 2: Select correct size nail for each finger and set aside in order.
Step 3: Clean nails with prep pad enclosed.
Step 4: Using black and white nail art paints, create a swirl at the tip of the accent nails.
Step 5: Dip a toothpick into the opposite color and make small dot.
Step 6: Once dry, peel off backing, press on firmly and go!
Golden French Nails
Step 1: Start with KISS Classy Nails in Be-you-tiful.
Step 2: Select correct size nail for each finger and set aside in order.
Step 3: File and shape into oval or any shape desired.
Step 4: With a thin striper brush dip into a gold acrylic paint (a non-water based option), making a curved French line across the tip.
Step 5: Once dry, apply nail with glue or adhesive nail tabs.
