Gotcha! Kudos to Oscar presenter Kristen Stewart (who presented the tribute to Hollywood horror films—get it?) and her edgy, modern updo—and the man behind the 'do, Frederic Fekkai's Renato Campora.
To create the hairstyle, Campora first combed through Fekkai COIFF Strong Hold Volume Mousse Kristen's wet hair before using a large-barreled round brush to blow-dry her hair straight. Next, Campora created waves and texture via a one-inch-barrel curling iron, and gave her more volume and movement by working Fekkai Au Naturel Dry Shampoo into her strands.
To give extra dimension to the 'do, Campora plaited few loose braids down the sides of Kristen's head, beginning halfway down, and left them untied at the ends. Then all her hair was pulled back into a low chignon and secured with large pins. Finally, he locked her locks in place with a misting of Fekkai COIFF Sheer Hold Hairspray.
