Benefit for Maureen Anlauf, Nationally Acclaimed Stylist Suffering with Chronic Lyme Disease

On November 5th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at the Aveda Academy in New York, Vivienne Mackinder of HairDesignerTV, Virginia Meyer of Red Chocolate, and their talented industry friends will host a live show reaching out to members of the hair industry in support of the important artist, Maureen Anlauf.

Maureen, a nationally acclaimed stylist and three-time NAHA winner, discovered she has Chronic Lyme Disease after 15 years of suffering undiagnosed. The disease left her tired and unable to concentrate, forcing her to stop working in the career which meant everything to her. Worst of all, the disease is currently attacking the creative side of her brain. Maureen’s only hope of a full recovery rests in an extensive eighteen-month treatment costing more than $100,000.

The show provides an intimate evening of education and inspiration from industry artists and icons. Also, it includes motivational teaching on color, cut, and dress work from:

•    Vivienne Mackinder
•    Frank Rizzieri
•    David Adams
•    Rodney Cutler
•    Ted Gibson
•    Dean Holcombe
•    David Wagner
•    Cyndi DeSoto
•    Virginia Meyer
•    Jeanine O’Neil Blackwell
•    Scott Buchanan.

All of the proceeds from the fundraising event go towards Maureen and the treatment that could save her life.
