Surface Hair recently decided to amp up its lifelong commitment to personal health and the planet by participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. The Lisa Rendall Foundation was begun when radio personality Lisa Rendall was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Rendall lived with the disease for over 10 years, and is commonly credited with putting a face to the disease in Saskatchewan, Canada by telling her story and raising over $400,000 for breast cancer research.
