Hairstyles Before and After: Cropped and Colorful

Hair stylist for Fantastic Sam's, Christine Ann Le, helped her client Zoe revamp her one-dimensional, all over hair color by creating a short, razor cut style with unexpected angles and lots of vividly bright color. To achieve this plume-like hairstyle, Christine began by applying a thermal protectant and styling spray to Zoe's natural hair, and then rough-dried Zoe's strands using her fingers. To create spikes, Christine next flat ironed small sections until smooth at the front of the head, and pulled them up and away from the scalp in the back. To finish the look, Christine used styling paste to twist and pinch small sections of hair, and then smoothed the front with a small amount of pomade. The completed look is fun, bright, dynamic and sure to stand out in a crowd. See Zoe's before and after pictures below.
