There are very few hairstyles more iconic than Joan Jett's rock and roll shag. It's cool, it's edgy, and to be frank, it borders on a mullet. This season, the haircut is back with a modern update, as seen on the F/W 2013 Marc Jacobs runway. Joi Rooks, KMS California Artistic Team Member and owner of fresche salon in Atlanta, GA, shows us to achieve what she calls the mod mullet. "It's super easy to maintain and it’s really chic. The back is slighter longer than the sides like a mullet, but the styling makes it fresh and modern."
