Reason I became a hairstylist: When I was 12, I saw a TV talk show hair makeover done by stylist Jose Eber. The woman was so happy with her new hair, it brought her to tears. I immediately told my dad that I wanted to be a hairdresser. I wanted to make people feel beautiful.
Best advice I would give to a new hairstylist starting out: You get what you give. What you put into the business is what you're going to get out of it. As an artist, inspiring people to grow has helped me grow.
