Miranda Lambert brought a special glamour to the 2013 Grammy Awards red carpet. Wearing an elegant navy Roberto Cavalli gown, and hair designed by Mara Roszak for Moroccanoil, the recording artist definitely turned heads.
“Miranda’s dress was gorgeous and had a classic Hollywood elegance,” said Mara Roszak. “I wanted her hair to also have a classic mood, but with a modern edge.”
“I left her hair down, and made her waves loose and flowing. To have something cool and interesting going on, I brought one side off the shoulder and gave the hair a little twist behind the ear.
How the look was created:
“I started by applying Moroccanoil Treatment to her damp ends and worked my way up to condition and prime the hair and give it a beautiful natural looking shine. I added Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse to give it soft-looking volume and for hold.
“After blow drying her hair with a medium-sized round brush, I pin curled the top for extra volume. Then, with a 1" curling Iron I rotated random sections of the hair to give it a loose flowing wave.
“On one side, I pulled the hair back behind the ear and gave it a small twist and pinned it behind the ear.
“I then sprayed the style with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium, loosening the wave with my fingers at the same time.
“To finish the look I sprayed Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray all over the hair for extra luster on the red carpet.”
