Though the economy’s nosedive has lightened his wallet, he’s going to need a haircut. As Justin DePasquale, creative director of ECRU New York, points out, all that’s necessary to keep him coming back is a tweak to your normal service. “During an economic downturn, men will probably cut back on their visits. But you can offer a ‘Haircut Refresher’ for half of the time and half of the price,” he suggests. “For this service, you shape up the perimeter of his haircut and just make minor touches so the cut lasts longer.”
