Celebrity hairstylist and owner of Cristophe Salon Newport Beach, Scott Fontana, will be hosting the 2015 Making the Cut live hair show competition to name Souther California's top stylist. The prestigious hair show event features live hair cutting and styling on stage by local leading hairstylists, a live hair and fashion show, and a renowned judging panel made up of some of the area's top stylists and beauty industry elite. The exciting event will take place in October 5th at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA and will name Southern California's top stylist.
Making the Cut is now accepting entries from professional hair stylists throughout Southern California, including Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties. “We encourage all professional Southern California hair stylists to enter the 2015 competition,” says Scott Fontana. “We are so excited to bring the Making the Cut live hair show to Los Angeles, giving entrants the opportunity to be named the top stylist in the region.”
Stylists are invited to submit their entries online via the Making the Cut website between June 18 and July 31, 2015. The submission, which will provide entrants the opportunity to present their three best looks to the judges, will also include a question and answer section about why they are qualified to compete in the live hair show. After reviewing all nominations, the judging panel will narrow the entries to six finalists. Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of hundreds of guests and media for the chance to win the title, as well as $2,500 cash and other prizes.
