Colorist Shonda Broadus recently created this gorgeous, multidimensional look for her client. Bold, hot pink pops against bright, orange tones and subtle hints of violet for a result that is simply stunning. Below, Broadus shares her color formula for recreating this look.
Get the Look:
Says Broadus, "I used Schwarzkopf 5/99, 5-0 and 30 vol. on [the client's] natural level 3 roots. I then pre-lightened her mid-shaft and ends with Schwarzkopf Igora Royal Bleach and 30 vol. while her roots were processing. (Total processing time was 35 minutes.)
"After rinsing and towel-drying, I applied custom mixes of PRAVANA VIVIDS and did a color melt (Magenta/Wild Orchid, Neon Orange/Yellow, Pink/Clear, and Orange with a pinch of Red). EmBee Meche was used to isolate the colors.
"I let it process at room temperature for 20 minutes, then rinsed, shampooed and styled."
