BCA Month: Philip Pelusi Hosts Fundraiser and Fashion Show

A high pony is modern, timeless and chic. Here, it goes high fashion with soft, neutral highlights.

Philip Pelusi Salon Group held a fundraiser and fashion show for Susan B. Komen at Diesel Club Lounge on Pittsburgh’s South Side on October 1, 2014. To date, the company has raised over $50K to help find a cure for breast cancer. A fall/winter seasonal trend collection celebrating shape, texture and unique color blending/tone options featured work from stylists at all 12 Philip Pelusi locations in Pittsburgh. Styling and creative direction were provided by Creative Directors Lisa Krszal and Sam Canavan as well as Jason Peterson, Salon Leader for Philip Pelusi Salon Group.

Wearing fashions from area boutiques, models sported modern, classic hair accented with a dramatic edge and unstructured waves, all achieved by the Volumetric technique, Pelusi’s trademarked cutting system. Hair color in warm, blended autumn shades was accented with icy cool tones. Meanwhile, highlights featured an interplay of warm and cool tones, replacing dark and light.
