Ziggy Stardust Becomes a Source of Inspiration for Chung-Yang Su's Collection

Rokk Ebony is one of the hippest salons in the destination city of Melbourne in Australia. So it comes as no shock that the salon’s Chung-Yang Su would conceive an ultra- cool compilation, which he dubbed Stardust (as in David Bowie’s famous alter ego, Ziggy Stardust). The looks are pure ’70s glam rock, with vibrant colors displayed to full effect in both the hair and fashion statements. Starmen—and starwomen—unite.

  • Retro Revision

Though all the looks in the collection tap the ’70s, each offers a more current iteration of the high glam and dazzle indicative of the decade.

  • Fear No Colors

The striking hair hues remain wearable, with shades that can be played for a more subdued effect coupled with those than can ring even bolder.

  • Boy Meets Girl

David Bowie’s androgynous beauty and fashion choices are echoed in the models’ aesthetic.

  • Make Me Up

A prettier, toned-down style of glam rock-inspired makeup was applied to better highlight the models’ soft facial features.
