As the holidays near, we often reflect on what we have to be thankful for in our lives and what we can do to help those in need. This month Wella teamed up with OPI for its inaugural Cut-A-Thon event to raise funds and awareness for Safe Place for Youth, known as S.P.Y., a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization that provides lasting solutions for young people facing homelessness.
On Wednesday, November 16, Wella and OPI hosted the Cut-A-Thon at the Wella studio in Los Angeles where attendees had the chance to get services including blowouts, cut, color and manicures from top Wella and OPI artists and educators. The services were provided for a suggested donation and the proceeds went to support Safe Place for Youth. In total Hairdressers at Heart, Wella and OPI raised $9,000 for S.P.Y., with over 200 guests donating and receiving services.
