Trends: The Side-Swept Undercut

Channing Tatum demonstrates a version of the side-swept undercut.
According to celebrity stylist and salon owner Daniel Alfonso, the side-swept undercut is one of the hottest hair trends for men this year. “Guys are revamping their pompadours and straight part cuts and going for something with more movement,” explains Alfonso.

The hybrid look, which has been seen atop the heads of A-listers like Channing Tatum, Justin Bieber, and more, is easy to achieve, and will offer your clients just the right amount of edge to stand out. Check out the look in action in Alfonso's latest video, below!

To Style:

  1. Blow-dry the sides back, using a round boar bristle brush on the top. For more volume, blow-dry in the opposite direction that hair goes naturally.
  2. Apply 1821 Man Made's pliable paste to the sides of the hair, and the pomade to the top strands for a glossier finish.
  3. Set the look with hair spray, like the beer can-inspired 1821 Man Made spray for fast-drying, flexible hold.
