Help your client achieve the look with these three stunning purple color formulas from real life stylists.
Formula 1: Deep Purple by Melissa Kenny
To get this gorgeous, rich hue, hairstylist Melissa Kenny first pre-lightened hair to a level 10, then used Joico Color Intensity Indigo, Pink and Clear plus Lye Locks by Manic Panic 1:1:1:1. She let the color process under the dryer for 30 minutes, then cooled for 10.
Formula 2: Magnificent Magenta by Robin Dorton
Stylist Robin Dorton created this stunning, multicolored shade by pre-lightening slices in a circular pattern around the client's face. Then, she alternated slices with Joico Color Intensity Indigo, Pink and Indigo+Pink+Clear 1+1+1. She applied base color Wella Koleston Perfect 66/56 + /65 with 20 volume on the remaining hair, and let process for 45 minutes.
Formula 3: Pop of Purple by Tronisha Robinson
For this fun blonde and purple combo, stylist Tronisha Robinson began by first pre-lightening new growth with Wella blondor and 20 volume, which she then let process for 40 minutes. Next, she sliced panels on the sides and applied Manic Panic Lye Locks, and applied toner on remaining hair, 1.5 oz Wella Color Touch 10/81 & .75 oz 7/89 with 1.9% emulsion, and processed all for 30 minutes.
