The Inspiration: “It’s Christian’s 10th anniversary, and he sourced the beauty and elegance of 18th Century British Art for his collection,” says Cole. “When I researched the hairstyles of that era, they were very simple. But if women dressed [their hair] up, they used embellishments. I wanted to modernize that idea. Rather than using ornate flowers, I decided to stack three black thick barrettes.”
The Hero Product: Sebastian Professional Dry Clean Only Dry Shampoo. “This is giving me the strong texture I need to hold the barrettes,” says Cole.
