Schwarzkopf Professional's #REdefiningyou Collection Takes Inspiration from the Runway

A melange of beauty's biggest tastemakers come together to forecast this season's must-have looks.

For the latest Schwarzkopf Professional “Essential Looks”trend forecast,a diverse array of pro-beauty influencers convened to define what the newest hair trends would look like as the next few months unfold. The end result: #REdefiningyou, a collaboration with a stripped-down approach to an assortment of what they predict will be client-coveted looks. “This collection brings together global influencers and the world’s top hair gurus to share the looks, innovations and trends that will be big,”shares Schwarzkopf Professional international creative director Simon Ellis. “We’re talking inspiration from the runway and reinterpreting it for clients and the way they live every day.”

  • Punk Love

This edgy “Lucid Nocturnes” runway-inspired look by Schwarzkopf Professional North American color director Rossa Jurenas showcases a strong graphic shape with a choppy outline. Shades of iridescent purple and blue serve to spotlight the fringe for a twist that’s at once “punky” and seductive.

  • Building the Mystery

SoCal-based color trendsetter Linh Phan crafted this look, wherein he sought to capture an air of mystery and sophistication in the model’s long-hair styling paired with natural texture and a short fringe. Burgundy and dark ivy tones frame the face to produce a striking mood with Gothic nuances.

  • Bits and Bobs

For Schwarzkopf Professional global ambassador Tyler Johnston the devil is in the details with his precise take on the iconic pageboy bob. Fellow brand global ambassador and color maven Lesley Jennison added glossy tonal depths in a jigsaw-style pattern for a “lo-fi effect.”
