Michelle Pfeiffer's iconic Scarface character Elvira Hancock has served as a source of inspiration in the beauty and fashion world since she first walked on screen in 1983. And at Cushnie Et Ochs Spring 2017 collection, a modern take on the actress’ silky gowns, high slits, perfect blonde bob and bold lip gets remixed with a 1980's Miami Beach vibe.

Moroccanoil Global Brand Ambassador Antonio Corral Calero kept sexiness of Pfeiffer's iconic look, creating a sleek and shiny style with subtle bends at the ends. "The designers and this collection are about sexiness and embracing womanhood, and we wanted to incorporate that [idea] into the look," explains Calero. "It’s very important for us that the hairstyle goes from the runway to the streets; it’s simple, sophisticated and wearable."

Calero begins by prepping the hair with Moroccanoil Treatment and Moroccanoil Thickening Lotion before blow-drying the hair in two sections. Once hair is dry, he uses a 1½-inch curling iron to create a slight bend in the front section of the hair. He then draws a deep side part using the highest point of the eyebrow as his guide. Calero finishes the look with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray in Medium. "It's like the perfect blowout," he notes.

The makeup reflects Elvira to a tee, translating her look into dewy skin, contouring and a two-tone matte lip. "It's all about these three elements," says MAC Lead Artist Sammy Mourabit. "The look is sexy, sultry and strong."

For the skin, Mourabit applies a mix of MAC Studio Moisture Cream and Studio Water Weight Foundation to the entire face. He paints Cream Colour Base in Midtone Sepia on the whole contour of the face (cheekbones, nose, eyes and forehead) before highlighting the skin with Strobe Cream and Cream Colour Base in Luna and Pearl.

To create the bold two-tone pout, Mourabit preps the lip with MAC Lip Conditioner and then colors in the top lip with MAC Lip Pencil in Cherry and the bottom lip with Chromagraphic Lip Pencil in Process Magenta. The look is finished with a touch of In Extreme Dimension Lash mascara.

Christian Louboutin Beauté Lead Manicurist Alicia Torello recreates the long, nude stiletto nail much like Pfeiffer’s Elvira rocked in the cult classic, adding a graphic element to give it a modern twist. "We decided to keep it natural with the nude and off-white,” states Torello, “but we added an angle gradation from pinky to thumb".

After filing the nails into an almond shape, Torello starts with a coat of Christian Louboutin Beauté Nail Colour in Just Nothing as the base for the deconstructed French. Using a striping brush, she paints a hard line of white (Sweet Charity) on an angle from the bottom corner straight upward to the tip of the nail, starting with a sliver of white on the pinky and making the angle larger on each fingertip as she works her way toward the thumb.
