3.  Begin to backcomb the hair from crown to nape area.

If desired, place a ponytail of backcombed hair off center behind right ear for added volume.

4.  Begin to smooth and place hair crossing pieces over one another in a pattern working toward right ear.

Secure hair with bobby pins and hairpins.
