Men's Fashion Week: The New Suburbia at Richard Chai Men's Spring 2016

Rc1 0

For the Richard Chai Men's Spring 2016 show at Men's Fashion Week in New York City, Aveda Guest Artist Frank Rizzieri created a suburban-cool look, emphasizing texture and volume with an air of casual rebelliousness. The collection was inspired by "rebellious suburban youth that break out of code, dressing to the beat of their own drums." To highlight this defiant individuality, Rizzieri opted for a classically untidy style that allowed for much movement.

Says Rizzieri, "I used the Thickening Tonic to bring about a spirited and youthful fullness to the hair, and then the Grooming Cream and Control Paste gave the look an edge with a cool, tousled style."

Get the Look:
1. Prep towel-dried hair with the new Aveda Thickening Tonic by spraying thoroughly from roots to ends, in sections. Comb through to distribute evenly.

2. Blow-dry hair with fingers.

3. Emulsify a coin-sized dollop of Aveda Men Pure-Formance Grooming Cream and gently massage into hair.

4. Sculpt into a tousled style and define the look further with a small amount of Control Paste.
