IRELAND BALDWIN – SUN KISSED STRANDS
“Ireland had darkened her natural, dark blonde hair a few months ago and she had about 4 inches of regrowth. She wanted something a little bit lighter but still natural looking and sun-kissed. Also, keeping it low maintenance and maintaining the integrity of her hair was very important to her. That's why I chose my signature balayage technique. Using Matrix Light Master and 40 Volume Developer, I hand painted delicate highlights framing the face and through the crown, gradually getting thicker and heavier in the mid length and ends. To keep her hair in optimum shape, I added Matrix BOND Ultim8 Bond Protecting System to preserve her bonds during the lightening process.”
DESTRY SPIELBERG – LIGHTENED LOCKS
“I used my signature two stop highlighting process to achieve the final color. First, I freehand painted delicate baby blonde highlights framing the face and throughout the crown using Matrix Light Master with 40 volume developer. I let this process until it's dry. Then I took large horizontal sections, which I back-combed into fine slices. Apply a formulation of Matrix Light Master with 20 volume developer in V shapes to pump up the ends to a super light, white blonde. Using Matrix BOND Ultim8 Bond Protecting System throughout the process allows me to push the boundaries and get her to this super pale blonde with minimal damage.”
