Deconstructed with Hattori Hanzo and JRL Professional Collin Anthony

The devil's in the details.

For Collin Anthony, educator for Hattori Hanzo and JRL Professional, the key to creativity is mixing things up. For this look, he utilized a variety of techniques to achieve disconnected sides that fade into a blended back. “I used a clipper-over-comb technique to create a square head shape to show a more masculine style,” he explains. Anthony dropped the fade below the occipital bone and in the back so the hair would all blend if the client decided to slick it back. “The top was done using The Kasumi 9T texturizing shears from Hattori Hanzo to create separation and give the top an almost razored texture,” he explains. The look was then finished off with Cardinal Blend Atlas Matte Texture Clay to give it a disheveled feel.
