For the new collection from Y Salon at Newcastle Upon Tyne in the U.K., Angela Lowery took inspiration from roses—the shapes they take from bud to full bloom as well as their simplicity and purity, which can evoke everything from sensuality to romanticism. Other influences included Viktor & Rolf’s crisp take on the white shirt and the voluminous hairstyles of stars like Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot. The result: a glamorous collection with a modern feel.
