    1. “Start with a wash, which is the foundation. Stick with a moisturizing shampoo like MOP’s Mixed Greens Shampoo to help hair withstand humidity and heat from the tools,” says Castillo.
    2. “Next, mist MOP’s Pear Detangler and comb through hair to untangle and minimize frizz.
    3. “Smooth MOP Mixed Greens Leave-In Conditioner from mid-shaft to the end to help coat any damage or dryness.
    4. “Rough blow-dry the hair with the Cricket WavePro Dryer until it is about 80% dry, then brush it through with a Cricket Heat Boss Paddle Brush to take out any tangles.
    5. “With a tail comb, such as Cricket’s Pro 50 Silkomb, create a deep side part. Then, section by section, flat brush blow-dry the hair straight and go over each section with the Ultra Smooth Styling Iron from mid-hair shaft to end.
    6. “Once hair is straight, take a dollop-sized amount of MOP Orange Peel Molding Cream and coat root to mid-shaft on the side of the hair. Brush through and then, with a twisting motion, twist the hair from the scalp to behind the ear and down the back of the neck.
    7. “Repeat this same technique, minus the twist and gather hair into a low ponytail. Secure it with a hair bungee and wrap a section of hair around the bungee to conceal it.
    8. “To finish, I made my final touches of MOP’s C-System Firm Hair Spray around the hairline and around the ponytail.”
  • Rihanna’s Slicked-Back Strands

    Get the Look:

    1. “Start by washing the hair with a gentler formula, MOP Gentle Pear Shampoo is a great choice since it’s tear-free and smells really fresh,” says Yusef.
    2. “Then, blow-dry the hair completely straight.
    3. “After it’s dry, run MOP Mixed Greens Leave-In Conditioner through the ends to smooth the hair back and tame fly-aways.
    4. “To make it pin straight, flat iron with the Ultra Smooth Styling Iron and comb all behind the ears.
    5. “Place bobby pins on each side of the hair behind the ears and smooth hair over the pins.
    6. “To finish, spritz with a firm hold spray like MOP C-System Firm Finish Hair Spray.”
  • Amy Adams’ Hollywood Waves

    Get the Look:

    1. “Start with clean wet hair and create a severe side part with the Pro 20 Silkomb from Cricket,” says Reeves.
    2. “Protect the hair! Apply Abba Thermal Protect Spray from roots to ends.
    3. “Next, work Abba Style Spray from roots to ends to create a natural, flexible hold.
    4. “Take a thin section of hair from the shorter side of the part, divide the section in three, and begin to braid. As you continue to braid, add small sections of hair into the braid.
    5. “Secure the braid at the nape of the neck with a small bobby pin.
    6. “Blow-dry the hair, and then begin wrapping small sections of hair around a 2-inch curling iron barrel.
    7. “Loosen the curls with a flat brush.
    8. “Spray a firm finishing hairspray to secure the look.”
