Hairroin Chic

Last weekend I just may have developed an addiction to Hairroin.

Now that I have your attention, don't worry, I'm talking about Hairroin Salon. After checking out the recently relocated salon at inspiring creative hub, Space 15 Twenty, I couldn't wait to go back for a service.

It was time to spice up my hair a little which was starting to look a bit dull. Also, my once blunt cut bangs were to that annoying point where I needed to face the important dilemma: To cut the bangs or not to cut the bangs?

So Saturday morning I headed to Hollywood for a cut and color courtesy of Hairroin founder, stylist Janine Jarman. As I looked around the salon, I could immediately tell it lived up to its edgy name. Across from me was a client with a magnificent head of dreadlocks and on another side of the salon I could see someone getting a pretty palate of rainbow colored hair styled.

At Janine's suggestion I decided to go with balayage, and I watched with anticipation as she painted on the subtle highlights. As for the bangs, I decided to grow them out. Janine is responsible for some of Hollywood's most gorgeous celebrity hairstyles and I must admit that I left feeling like a glamorous movie star with my new refreshed sun-kissed color.
