  • Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga set the 2016 Grammy Awards red carpet on fire last night with a special look to honor the legend of David Bowie and his musical legacy. Her flaming red Ziggy / Gaga hair look was styled by Frederic Aspiras for L’ANZA Healing Haircare.

    Get the Look:
        •    Aspiras first washed Lady Gaga’s hair with L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Shampoo and L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Conditioner.
        •    After towel drying he applied L’ANZA Healing Style Polyester on top of her hair, for texture, volume and shine.
        •    He then applied L’ANZA Healing Style Design Foam to the remainder of her hair including the ends.
        •    Aspiras then created two hair sections, separating the top from the bottom. Using a small round brush he blow-dried the top back of the hair for further volume.
        •    He blow-dried the lower section with a large round brush, to give the style movement and a soft curl.
        •    Using a large 2-inch curling iron, Aspiras then curled the sides towards the back and center, then curled the back of the hair going upwards. He pinned each curl with a clip and allowed it to cool.
        •    After removing the clips and letting the curls drop, he gave them a light misting of L’ANZA Healing Style Dry Texture Spray. He then used a large paddle brush to brush out the curls.
        •    He then applied L’ANZA Healing Style Beach Spray throughout.
        •     Next Aspiras used L’ANZA Healing Style Sculpt Dry Clay to piece and mold the top and sides. He also noted that Dry Clay is great for fly-aways.
        •    To finish the look and for lasting hold and bounce, Aspiras applied a final misting of L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Lustrous Finishing Spray.

  • Florence Welch

Celebrity hairstylist, Ryan Richman, created voluminous waves for Florence Welch’s 2016 Grammy Award’s look, with the help of KMS California products. Here, Ryan shares how to get Florence Welch’s red carpet look.

    1. Richman started by prepping damp hair with KMS California TAMEFRIZZ smoothing lotion for instant combability and frizz reduction, while protecting hair against heat. Then, he used a wide tooth comb to distribute the product evenly through the hair.

    2. Next, Richman used the Varis Creative Energy Blow Dryer to begin drying the bangs using a boar bristle brush to smooth the hair and brush the bangs from side to side until mostly dry, followed by drying the bangs straight down.

    3. Then, to dry the rest of her hair Richman used a medium boar bristle round brush and worked his way through the hair in 1” sections.

    4. To wave the hair Richman used a 1” Varis Creative Energy Flatiron taking 1” sections of the hair, starting at the base. He then closed the flatiron and bent the hair up and down while sliding the iron down each section. In order to hold the wave, he sprayed KMS California FREESHAPE 2-in-1 styling + finishing spray on each section as he worked.

    5. To finish the look, Richman used a dime size amount of KMS California HAIRPLAY messing creme and worked it through the hair with his hands, shaking the waves out to create a lived-in, second day hair style along with the KMS California SILKSHEEN polishing serum for shine and control on the ends.

  • Justin Bieber

Florido from Nine Zero One Salon, Los Angeles shares how he created Justin Bieber's Grammy hair:

    • I started with UNITE's BOOSTA Spray on his damp hair. I sprayed it mostly in the front to get a little bit of a lift. Mixed in a pump of UNITE’s U Oil to soften and protect his hair from the heat.
    • I blow dried the hair and brushed it into the direction I wanted.
    • After the hair is smoothed out, I worked in a dime sized amount of GO24•7 Grooming Cream. This stuff if amazing because it starts off soft, but once you work it through the hair and slick it, it stiffens and keeps the hair where you want it'.

  • Bella Hadid

Mark Townsend shares how he styled Bella Hadid for the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards:
“For Bella Hadid's Grammy Awards look, we knew we wanted to go chic and sleek. We decided to keep her hair off of her face, and go for a bone straight moment with tons of shine.

    · I started by applying NEW Dove Regenerative Nourishment Serum-in-Oil to her damp hair to nourish strands and seal the cuticle.

    · I then blew her out straight using my ghd air™ hair dryer.

    · Once the hair was fully dry, I went through section by section with a comb and straightened it using my ghd platinum™ styler. This amazing flat iron features ghd’s tri-zone™ technology which allows me to style hair at the optimal temperature of 365 degrees while also providing shine. I worked in small sections to straighten each strand and lock-in the shine.

    · Once her hair was sleek and straight, I concentrated on her hairline. I perfected her center part with a rat tail comb, then went through with a mascara wand coated in Dove Style+Care Strength & Shine Extra Hold Hairspray to brush down her baby hairs and ensure the look was flyaway free.

    · I then coated another mascara wand in Oribe Rock Hard Gel, and gently brushed each section of hair down so that it laid perfectly. The end result is sexy and sleek with tons of shine!”

  • Tori Kelly

Tori Kelly is known for her uniformed, frizz-free curls. Here's how to get the look:

    • Start with freshly washed hair.
    • To prevent frizz, use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner which will keep your curls hydrated all day long.
    • Section your hair into three parts, starting with the bottom, apply a pea-size amount of RI CI Thirsty Styling Gel using your fingers like a comb and shake the hair once you get to the tips for defined curls.
    • Dry with a diffuser to get super bouncy curls, or air dry for a tousled natural look.
    • Finally, using a teasing brush, gently push your hair back to a side sweep and spray with the RI CI Setting Spray to keep it in place. A light spray of hair spray can also be added if you need the look to stay all night long.
  • Meghan Trainor

Jill Crosby, celebrity hairstylist and Women’s ROGAINE® Spokesperson, shares exclusive tips and tricks on how to recreate this dynamic look:

Step 1: Pump up the color. Meghan’s look was so fresh and fun! It was full of volume, which a new color selection can actually help with—thehair's cuticle expands during the process to give you a look of fullness. Work with your stylist to select the perfect color for your completion.

Step 2: Choose the right cut. Meghan is wearing a beautiful long layered cut with lots of texture and movement and when it is done right, it’s perfect for any woman. A lot of my clients suffer from thinning hair and I tell them not to shy away from this cut, if your stylist is careful not toover layer the hair, or takeaway too much thickness the cut creates lift.

Step 3: Products and treatments can make the look. If you suffer from thing hair and you choose this cut, I recommend Women’s ROGAINE® Foam as a long term treatment option—you only need to use it once a day and it fits seamlessly into any styling routine. Then, a bit of mousse and some heat protectant spray and you’re on to the next step!

Step 4: Finally, blow dry the hair to get great bounce and volume. Then, with a temperature controlled ceramic curling iron, add a soft wave for an even fuller look. Then just a touch of texturizing spray and you are red carpet glam!

  • Chrissy Teigen

Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin created a chic and sexy look for Chrissy Teigen. This on-trend, high pony was the perfect complement to the high neckline of Chrissy's white hot ensemble, achieved largely using TRESemmé's new Beauty-Full Volume collection, of which the mom-to-be was recently named the face.

    Get the Look:

    • Prep hair with the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume reverse wash system, applying the Pre-Wash Conditioner, followed by the Beauty-Full Volume Shampoo to get a great base.
    • Apply TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximizer, followed by OUAI soft mousse, to damp hair.
    • Blow dry hair straight with a large metal round brush and hair dryer. When strands are dry, flat iron straight.
    • Apply OUAI hair oil and OUAI finishing cream to hands before gathering the hair into a high ponytail and securing with a brown bungee band. PRO TIP: To hide the bungee band, wrap section of hair from ponytail around the bungee band and secure with small hair pin.

    • Run more OUAI treatment oil through the length of the ponytail to smooth.

  • Demi Lovato

Clyde Haygood explains how to get Demi Lovato's lived-in look from the Grammys!

"I was so happy when Demi told me she was ready to go for it and let me use my creativity to work with herhair. Demi rocks her short haircut like no other, but I love a girl, especially one as iconic as her, who is willing to experiment and try different options," shares Clyde Haygood.

"We wanted to keep with Demi's current carefree aesthetic, so we turned her short cut into a longer, “unfussed” version of itself."

    1. With Demi's crazy schedule and her Grammy performance rehearsals before the red carpet, there was no time to shampoo her hair, so I called upon BigSexy Hair Full Bloom to refresh and give her hair fullness and volume. I blow-dried Full Bloom into her bangs and the side pieces that frame her face to bring them back to life. This product works great to thicken hair, and it smells incredible for any second-day hair.

    2. With limited time and Demi having 'bobbed'hair (which is the most difficult to break up with extensions), I chose to use a half fall on the back of her hair to cover the bluntness and blend her own front into it. I used tape-in extensions on the sides of her natural hair to give length and to better blend in her natural hair. Before putting in the half fall, I prepped it with Style SexyHair Slept In Texture Crème throughout to get piecey separations and to give it a “real” and “lived-in” look.

    3. To achieve a natural-looking blend of her real hair and the extension pieces, I twist the real and extension pieces together around a 1½ inch hot iron. This helps them lock together and ultimately blend in better.

    4. For the finish, I used Big Sexy Hair Get Layered Flash Dry Thickening Hairsprayto complete the “lived in” airy feel and to keep her hair in place. I absolutely love this product! For a hairspray, there is no stickiness, and it brushes out amazingly well!
