"Kim Kimble, my friend and mentor, asked me to join the team just a day before we had to fly out. I was excited and didn't want to miss another historic Beyoncé production."

  • "When I got to New York, the first thing we did was drop off our tools and equipment where the hard-working entertainer was already practicing..."

  • "...She meet us in a floor length fur jacket, in true Beyoncé style."

  • "All of the looks [for Beyoncé and her dancers] were inspired by traditional African hairstyles from various tribes throughout Africa."

  • "Tons of intricate braiding and hair extensions were used to make the looks come to life."
