STELLA MCCARTNEY FOR SPRING 2018 PREVIEW
Celebrity Nail Artist, Tom Bachik, along with a team of nail tech pros used OPI Infinite Shine Lacquer in Feeling Frisco, The Beige of Reason and Tiramisu for Two with OPI Infinite Shine ProStay Primer and Gloss, to create a soft look to compliment Stella McCartney’s new, bright spring-inspired collection. A step-by-step is listed below.
STEP 1: One Coat of OPI Infinite Shine ProStay Primer
STEP 2: Apply two coats of OPI Infinite Shine Lacquer in Feeling Frisco, The Beige of Reason or Tiramisu for Two to achieve a warm, simplistic tone
STEP 3: One coat OPI Infinite Shine ProStay Gloss
OPENING CEREMONY LA PREVIEW
Celebrity nail artist, Naomi Yasuda, created three dramatic nail looks utilizing OPI Nail Lacquer in I Am What I Amethyst, First Lady of Nails and Russian Navy for a blue-green ombré nail, OPI Nail Lacquer in To The Mouse House We Go, Shh…It’s Top Secret and Excuse Me Big Sur for a pink-red ombré nail and OPI Nail Lacquer in Shh…It’s Top Secret and Excuse Me Big Sur for a fierce Scorpion-inspired nail design.
Ombré Nail:
STEP 1: One Coat of OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
STEP 2: Apply two coats of OPI Nail Lacquer in I Am What I Amethyst
STEP 3: On a rectangular make-up sponge, paint lines using OPI Nail Lacquer in I Am What I Amethyst, First Lady of Nails and Russian Navy
STEP 4: Stamp the sponge onto the nail softly; repeat stamping a few times to achieve a perfect soft color fading so the colors end up mixing together, repeat steps 2,3,4 but on a piece of wax paper; once dry, finish with OPI Brilliant High-Shine Top Coat
STEP 5: After wax paper is dry, gently remove the nail polish from wax paper and cut it into small strips
STEP 6: Add 3 strips to each nail, with the center strip flipped and seal the look with OPI Matte Top Coat
Scorpion Nail:
STEP 1: One Coat of OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
STEP 2: Apply two coats of OPI Nail Lacquer in Shh…It’s Top Secret
STEP 3: Draw scorpions with OPI Nail Lacquer in Excuse Me Big Sur, with a fine-point nail brush
STEP 4: Seal the look with OPI Matte Top Coat
