It may be blizzard season where you are, but wedding and festival season is just around the corner, sure to arrive before you know it. With this in mind, PRAVANA Guest Artist Lara C. Kay created a stunning take on a staple hairstyle of warmer days - this revamped Dutch braid. Kay's look is edgier than the classic braid, but still feminine with just the right amount of intricacy. Paired with peek-a-boo pastels, created by PRAVANA Guest Artist and celebrity stylist Danny Moon, the look is perfect for clients seeking something above-average.
To create the look, Kay used PRAVANA’s NEVO Super Shape Hair Spray, securing strands with the buildable, long-lasting formula without the crunchy or stiff feeling. Meanwhile, Moon used PRAVANA Locked-In and VIVIDS Clear to create the pastel tie-dye effect prior to styling. The end result: colors that are enhanced by the structure of the braid, while adding dimension to the finished style.
