Get the Look: 2 Quick Styles from Michelle Vance

Goldwell Regional Artistic Team member Michelle Vance is making special occasion hair easy with these two gorgeous looks. Perfect for a romantic Valentine's Day, or a fun girl's night out, these simple-but-stunning styles will have your client party-ready in no time.

First, start with a rich, beautiful color. Below, Michelle shares her formula and technique for this chocolatey merlot:

HAIR COLOR

  1. Apply 80ml Colorance Cover Plus Lotion + 20ml 7NN + 20ml 7KG to the regrowth and process for 30 minutes.
  2. Rinse and shampoo with your favorite Goldwell shampoo, like the Goldwell Dualsenses Color Fade Stop Shampoo. Towel-dry thoroughly and apply Goldwell Dualsenses Color Shine Serum Spray.
  3. Apply 80ml Colorance lotion + 15ml7KG + 20ml8OR+ 5ml 9KG to the mid-shaft and ends and process for 15 minutes.
  4. Rinse and condition with your favorite Goldwell conditioner, like the Goldwell Dualsenses Color Detangling Conditioner.
  5. Apply Goldwell StyleSign Glamour Whip Brilliance Styling Mousse and dry the hair. Finish with Goldwell Kerasilk Ultra Rich Keratin Care Oil.

  • Look 1: Low Crown

    This low crown style with hair wrapped around the head creates a formal look in only 5-10 minutes.

    How-To:

    1. Place a hairband around the head and pin to secure.
    2. Starting in the front, take 1/4-inch sections, meet from each side and wrap around the band. Continue until both sections meet and tuck away any remaining hair.
    3. Lightly pull on the crown to create extra volume.

     

  • Look 2: Braided Side Pony

    This braided look only takes a moment, yet it looks like your client was styling at home for hours.

    How-To:

    1. Create a side part from the front hair line, to the nape.
    2. Create a French braid on the reverse side starting at the front.
    3. Pull the remaining hair towards the braid and spiral wrap as shown in the picture.
