Held on May 3rd and 4th, 2015 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, The Makeup Show NYC celebrated its tenth anniversary with its most successful show to date. Over 7,000 attendees, including retailers, buyers, editors, and bloggers, interacted with 85+ beauty brands and nearly 50 inspirational and keynote speakers, attended hands-on workshops, and mingled with top makeup artists during the first ever The Makeup Show Week.

This past decade has been an amazing experience of growth and opportunity, and we're beyond thrilled to have celebrated our anniversary with our biggest show yet. So far, in 2015, The Makeup Show LA, The Makeup Show NYC, and The Makeup Show Week have achieved record-breaking numbers, and we look forward to continuing this success with our remaining shows in Dallas, Chicago, and Orlando."
The Makeup Show Gala
The Makeup Show NYC Kicked off on the evening of Friday, May 1st with the first-ever The Makeup Show Gala, an exclusive night held at Metropolitan West, which offered 300 guests a stimulating evening of conversation, dinner, drinks, and dancing. An award ceremony was held at the gala, and two awards were given to industry icons James Vincent, makeup artist, educator and mentor for his years of dedication and support, and Maurice Stein, legendary makeup artist, leader, educator and business owner. The evening also offered the opportunity for attendees to preview The Makeup Show Icon Gallery: Ten Years in the Making, a gallery featuring work from some of The Makeup Show's top artists and brands.
