The Lead Stylist: Linh Nguyen for Cutler x Redken
The Inspiration: While the clothing collection is inspired by Dada artists Hannah Höch and Suzanne Duchamp, Nguyen chooses to keep the hair look simple, opting for a side-swept bang and texturized ponytail. “The bang is important. I’m doing a ‘break’ in the bang—actually, three breaks. The ‘Rule of Three’ just makes it better,” says Nguyen.
The Hero Product: Redken Wind Blown 05. “Wind Blown gives the texture needed to make the breaks,” says Nguyen, adding, “We’re using that, plus the magic and finesse of two fingers and the end of a tail comb!”
